A Euclid man has been sentenced to life in prison plus 33 years for organizing the killing of a police informant while in Cuyahoga County Jail last fall.
Eddie Brownlee, 48, was facing drug charges when he, revealed during tapped phone calls, directed three people to kill Robert Williams, 63, also of Euclid.
Williams was an informant who bought cocaine from Brownlee during a police investigation.
He was fatally shot outside of is Indian Hills Senior community apartment, after an altercation with Ryan Motley, his brother Raymond, and Rahkee Young.
Shooter Ryan Motley, 21, was sentenced today to 18 years to life in prison after p;leading guilty to murder and conspiracy.
Accomplices Raymond Mottley, 24, and Rahkee Young,35, were also sentenced today.
Motley will serve 18 years in jail after pleading guilty to involuntary manslaughter, conspiracy, and burglary.
Young, who plead guilty to involuntary manslaughter and conspiracy was sentenced to 13 years in prison.
Following an eight day trial, jury members found Brownlee guilty of murder, aggravated murder, conspiracy, felonious assault, aggravated burglary, and kidnapping on October 19.
