A man was hospitalized, Saturday evening, after a fire broke out inside his home in Richmond Heights.
It is reported that the man was rescued from the home and transported to Metro Health Hospitals with second and third degree burns.
According to reports, the fire started inside the fireplace and then expanded.
Portions of Richmond Road were closed due to the fire.
As of Sunday, the man is in stable condition.
