Mother of four goes missing in Cleveland Heights

31-year-old Miriam Johnson has been missing since February 26th

A mother of four living in Cleveland Heights has been missing for weeks and her family fears she could be in danger.

“I just can’t imagine what’s preventing her from contacting somebody,” Cindy Johnson said.

Cindy Johnson said her 31-year-old daughter, Miriam Johnson, has been missing since February 26th when she dropped her off at her apartment on Mayfield Road.

Within days, Miriam’s two phones were going to voicemail.

When she did not show up for work at the Map Room bar, family entered her apartment and found a bed, couches, TV’s and clothes missing.

Though there were no signs of a fight or forced entry, police do not believe she simply packed up.

“I do think that there’s information out there that people might be hesitant to share,” said Miriam’s sister, Anna Johnson, who suspects people may afraid of Miriam’s ex, Yaphet Bradley, 34.

Bradley is the father of three of Miriam’s children and has twice served time for domestic violence in cases which involved beating with a baseball bat and kidnapping.

Anna said the couple had recently been seen together and that no one has heard from Yaphet, either.

“He shut his Facebook off, police have not been able to find him, and apparently no one’s had contact with him,” she said, “And that’s questionable.”

Cleveland Heights Police say there is a warrant for his arrest on a parole violation for a drug charge.

Though they are not naming him as a suspect, there is a reward for information that leads to his arrest.
