CLEVELAND -- A common complaint in Cleveland is that there is no access to the lake downtown.

A new business, working with the City of Cleveland, hopes to draw people down to the water.

Rock & Dock is opening right below the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Jet Ski, Paddle Boats and Kayak rentals will allow people to get out onto Lake Erie.

The paddle boats have to stay in the sheltered area under the Rock Hall, Science Center and FirstEnergy Stadium: Home of the Cleveland Browns.

In addition, 53 boat slips have been built so people can rent them for an hour or a week. Boaters will be able to pull up right under the Rock Hall and have direct access to downtown Cleveland.

A private company is running the rental business but the city owns the docks. The non-profit Downtown Cleveland Alliance is in charge of maintaining the area.

The official opening is June 25 with a ribbon cutting by Mayor Frank Jackson.

It will be open daily 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The address is 1020 E. 9th Street, just behind the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum
