CLEVELAND -- RTA's Blue and Green rail lines are fully operational.

RELATED STORY: Flooding on the east side, RTA shuts down blue and green lines

A portion of the East Side system was shut down for more than a day after heavy rain from Sunday's storms caused a retaining wall to crumble and fall onto the tracks. Passengers had to use shuttle buses to get to their destinations.

Ohio Department of Transportation crews worked to clear debris from the tracks and repair the damage. The route was back in service around 4 a.m. Tuesday.

RTA released a statement thanking riders for their patience.
