Authorities are investigating a crash that took the life of one person in Geauga County Monday evening.
Around 5:40 p.m., officials responded to the accident on Chardon Windsor Road.
Robert Porter, 54 ,of Willoughby was driving a 2004 Toyota 4Runner, when officials say he ran a stop sign and struck a Motor Coach bus.
The bus, driven by James Kendall, 65, of Plainfield was carrying 36 passengers.
Five passengers on the bus were transported to Geauga Hospital were they were treated and released.
According to the report, Porter was not wearing his seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is unknown at this time whether any alcohol or drugs were involved.
