Historic win for Miss Ohio USA: It's All Good (News!) with Stephanie Haney

Meet the lunch lady who cares about her students, plus a historic win for Miss Ohio USA, and learn how the Browns are playing board games for charity!

CLEVELAND — We could really all use some comfort and good news in our lives this week. Before we get into too much with our show, we do want to acknowledge and send prayers to all the lives lost in Uvalde, Texas. Their lives were cut too short.

The hope of our show, It's All Good (News!) with Stephanie Haney, is to not only make you smile, but inspire the idea that there can be more good in this world, if we all come together and encourage more of it. Though we do not ever want to minimize or gloss over real tragedies of this world, we also hope we serve as a reprieve when our minds just need a mental break from the toll these types of situations can take.

So we start with week with an inspiring story from the Miss Ohio USA pageant. For the first time in 17 years in Ohio, an African America woman was crowned queen! Miss Sir'Quora Carroll won in her first pageant ever. The runner up is Kiyasia Hudson from Lorain County.

You can watch the entire episode below:

Next, Carroll will go to Cancun to compete in the Miss USA Competition against the rest of the crowned women nationwide! We hope this story inspires little minds who want to be just like Carroll when they grow up.

Next- we share the story of one lunch lady who truly goes above and beyond to uplift her students in Avon Lake. Meet food service employee Tammie Johnson, who serves up smiles at troy intermediate school.

She writes inspirational notes on the bananas and if you get the one that says "See the lunch lady," you get a free snack! We're sending her our Good Vibes this week- since she's already so good at it herself.

We're also sending Good Vibes only to three Browns players who are doing more with their love of gaming then just leaving it all on the game board. Last November, a picture of Cleveland Browns teammates Myles Garrett, Wyatt Teller and Johnny Stanton IV playing the popular board game "Dungeons & Dragons" went viral. Now that they've had time to master their skills, they're hosting a charity D&D game at Tabletop Board Game Cafe today!

They're inviting some special guests too. Tickets to the event have already sold out. It will stream live on The Cantrip Cast's Twitch channel.

Lastly- we just want to make you smile with a look at two new sea otters making the Cleveland Museum of Natural History their new home! The museum just acquired the two male North American river otters from Louisiana on May 11. Estimated to be 5 years old, Atticus and Emmett have lived together, but it is uncertain if they are siblings.

They're gonna need some time to get used to museum living, so you may see them in the next few weeks and you may not. Either way, we're excited to see these guys in action!
