Cleveland Metroparks hiring for dozens of jobs, operations of toboggan chutes at risk without additional staff

Those jobs include positions at Merwin’s Wharf, the Chalet toboggan chutes, retail locations, park reservations, Cleveland Metroparks Zoo and more.

Looking for a job? Cleveland Metroparks officials are looking to fill more than 100 open positions that are now available for the fall and winter season.

Those jobs include positions at Merwin’s Wharf, the Chalet toboggan chutes, retail locations, park reservations, Cleveland Metroparks Zoo and more.

“Without additional staff support, we risk not being able to operate the toboggan chutes this upcoming season,” said Cleveland Metroparks CEO Brian M. Zimmerman.

TOBOGGANS

Open interviews for more than 70 seasonal positions at the Chalet in Mill Stream Run Reservation will be held Saturday, Oct. 9 from 2-4 p.m. Positions are available for those ages 16 and older. Officials say most jobs offer a flexible schedule with employment dates ranging from November through March.

MERWIN’S WHARF

All levels of food service are open at Merwin’s Wharf. Those interested in working here can apply in-person during hours of operation Wednesdays through Sundays.
