WILLOUGHBY -- Crews responded to a small fire at Andrews Osborne Academy in Willoughby Tuesday morning.
Officials say the fire started as maintenance workers were attempting to melt large icicles with a heating device over a building's entrance.
No injuries were reported.
Mutual aid from nearby fire departments responded to the scene.
"What could have been a major event ended up being a very small event," Willoughby Mayor Bob Fiala said.
