Willoughby Police: Three suspects wanted for breaking into two local businesses

Both crimes occurred early Wednesday morning.

The Willoughby Police Department is seeking the public's help to identify three individuals accused of breaking into two local businesses early Wednesday morning.

Officials responded to an alarm at 4074 Clark Avenue and found the front door of Clark Avenue Groceries smashed around 5:40 a.m.

According to police,surveillance video shows three suspects arriving in gray or silver Nissan Xterra SUV and damaging the front door of the business with a concrete block.

Around 7:00 a.m., the clerk from the BP gas station at 4015 Erie Street discovered a glass door of the business had also been smashed.

Officials believe the same three individuals are responsible for both break-ins.

The suspects were dressed in jogger style pants, hooded sweatshirts,jackets and masks over their faces.

According to reports, the suspects stole and undetermined amount of cash from the registers at both businesses.
