Lorain school students spread 'acts of kindness' in response to Parkland school shooting

On Wednesday, students across American walked out of their classrooms to advocate for stronger gun control measures in the country.

The protest comes in response to last month's shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School which killed 17 people. The attack has lead to renewed calls to politicians for tougher gun laws, especially from students.

However, students and teachers at St. Peter Catholic School in Lorain decided to put a different spin on things. After praying together for one minute and 17 seconds, students wrote and posted "acts of kindness" throughout the lockers of the building. The notes feature wonderful messages like, "You make me smile :)," and, "You're my best friend."
