Lorain Police investigating after two women found shot and killed in their home

The incident happened on Feb. 13.

The Lorain Police Department is investigating today after the homicides of two women inside of their own residence.

According to a press release from the Lorain Police Department, officers initially responded to a call around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 13, for reports of the shooting. The officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of  F Street to check out the scene.

Upon arrival, investigators found two women, 28-year-old Abril Mills and 29-year-old Jerhonda Edwards, with multiple gunshot wounds each.

The two women were pronounced dead shortly after the officers arrived at the crime scene. 

The case is currently under investigation as a double homicide by the Lorain Police Department.
