Officers responded to a call for a man stabbed in the parking lot across from 1392 West 6th Street at approximately 2 a.m. Sunday.

According to police, a Cleveland officer was working a second job when he witnessed two men arguing in the parking lot. The victim, 22, reportedly had his hands raised in the air when he was stabbed in the chest and stomach.

The suspect, Stefon Robinson, 24, was arrested and taken into custody after a brief foot chase with the off-duty officer.

The victim was taken by EMS to MetroHealth Medical Center where he died from his injuries.
