Funeral services for former Beachwood Fire Capt. Michael Palumbo were held on Saturday.

Palumbo died last week after battling occupational brain cancer. He was the namesake for Ohio's Michael Louis Palumbo Jr. Act, which provides presumptive workers compensation for firefighters diagnosed with occupational cancer.

Memorial services took place at Immaculate Conception Church in Willoughby with a burial following at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon. WKYC Channel 3 photojournalist Sean Forester was there and posted this Facebook Live video:
