The Ohio Department of Transportation is mourning the loss of one of its employees who was struck and killed in Youngstown Thursday afternoon.
WFMJ reports the accident occurred at Interstate 680 southbound near Market St. Crews say an SUV struck an employee who was operating a piece of equipment near the exit.
ODOT Akron later released a statement on its Twitter page.
The worker's identity has not yet been released. The crash is still under investigation.
