Share Your Voice: Locals share their thoughts on how we can come together as a nation

Talking with real Northeast Ohioans about "A Turning Point" for the nation.

SOLON, Ohio — Our nation is at a turning point where many are beginning to take a hard look at racism in America.

The death of George Floyd, a black man killed at the hand of a Minnesota Police officer on May 25, reignited a flame in the fight against not just police brutality, but all forms of racial injustice.

Since that day in May, countless protests and demonstrations have taken place, but many are now asking, "What's next, how do we move forward?"

The last few months have brought to light the many challenges we are still facing as a nation. And while we're used to seeing political leaders and entertainers on TV and in the headlines, in reality - it's everyday people who are going to help move conversations forward.

So as 3News continues to focus on issues of racial injustice and inequality through our "A Turning Point" series, anchor Jay Crawford visited Giant Eagle in Solon to ask shoppers to share their voice.
