Temperatures are expected to rise this weekend, though rain showers may dampen some of your plans.

But if you're still looking for some things to do, Northeast Ohio has plenty happening. Whether you're looking to eye all the rides at the auto show or jam out to indie bands in the Flats, check out our list of events happening this weekend.

Big Bang Masquerade

What: Check out J CLE's ninth annual masquerade at Big Bang. It's a night of cocktails, food and live music. The dueling pianos will be at play and you'll also receive a mask to get into the spirit. Get tickets here.

Brite Fest

What: Brite Winter Fest is back for fans of art and alternative entertainment. The event is packed with a lineup of performances from indie and alternative bands, headlined by Atlas Genius. The fest is full of art, interactive displays and food trucks. Learn more here.

Cleveland Auto Show

What: The Cleveland Auto Show returns this weekend to rev your engines. The event is full of pricey dream cars, celeb appearances and contests. You can meet Cleveland Cavaliers power forward Kevin Love, win a GMC Terrain and stare longingly at a Maserati Ghibli. Learn everything you need to know about the show here.

Cleveland Polar Plunge

What: Support the Special Olympics and take the plunge. The second Cleveland Polar Plunge aims to raise $75,000 for Ohio's Special Olympics. You can still register here.

Kid Rock

What: You don't have to wait all summer long to see Kid Rock in concert. The rock artist brings his American Rock N' Roll tour to The Q this weekend and tickets are still available here.

Lake Erie Folk Fest

What: Explore traditional music, art and culture at the third annual Lake Erie Folk Fest. Check out the workshops, children's programs and learn a new dance with the family. Learn more here.

Misery

What: "I'm your biggest fan." If you're a big fan of Stephen King's thriller Misery, see the live action version this weekend. Misery tells the nightmare of a novelist who wakes up in the home of a nurse with a dark past. She claims she's his "biggest fan," meaning she's willing to go to dangerous lengths to keep him in her home. Get tickets here.

NPR Politics Podcast

What: Listen to insightful political discussion with NPR stations WKSU and WCPN. The discussions are centered on politics and laced with humor, analysis and differing opinions. Get tickets here.

Ultimate Boy Band Tribute

We Play Cafe

What: The former VR Rage has revamped into We Play Cafe, meaning the grand re-opening in this weekend. The site formerly offered virtual reality gaming.
