That weather forecast isn't looking so great.

Our weather team is predicting a wintry weekend, complete with possible freezing rain and more snow. But that doesn't mean your Valentine's Day weekend has to consist of cabin fever. There's plenty to do across Northeast Ohio, from a chance to run a mile in your underwear (for charity!) to a chocolate bar crawl.

Akron Haunted Schoolhouse's Love Bites

What: It's the only thing scarier than unrequited love. Akron's Haunted Schoolhouse is hosting a Love Bites themed haunted house for two nights, in case you want to give your sweetie a scare. They'll also be handing out giveaways to visitors, including chocolate, wrist bands and black roses. Learn more here.

Baseball Love Stories

What: How can you not be romantic about baseball? Brad Pitt was talking about sabermetrics and scouting video when he uttered that line on "Moneyball," but it applies here, too. Bubbly Brunch Boutique

Chocolate Crawl

What: A bar crawl dedicated to chocolate is the ultimate Valentine's Day celebration. Downtown Willoughby's bars and restaurants will open their doors with drink specials and chocolate-infused foods, such as chocolate bacon at Mullarkey's and red velvet cupcakes at Corks. Get tickets here.

Cupid's Undie Run

What: Run a mile in your shoes -- and not much else. Cupid's Undie Run is a party and fun run that raises money for Neurofibromatosis, a genetic disorder that impacts one in 3,000 children. Run a brief mile (get it?) at your own pace, then partake in the party activities. Register here.

Dip your own chocolate gift

WinterFest at Tremont Taphouse
