AUSTINTOWN, Ohio -- Authorities have canceled a statewide missing adult alert after the 75-year-old Ohio man who was found safe.

Thomas Herbold, who has Dementia, was escorted home by police after he was located by a neighboring resident.

A statewide endangered missing adult alert was triggered after Herbold left his residence in Mahoning County around 1 a.m. Monday and didn't return.

The alert has been canceled.
