CANTON, Ohio — Stark County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a shooting that happened early Thursday morning.
Deputies were called to a home in the 1100 block of Oak Avenue NW in Canton Township for a shooting. When deputies arrived, authorities say they found a woman with an apparent gunshot wound.
The woman was transported to a local hospital by the Canton Township Fire Department where she is undergoing treatment.
