NORTHFIELD CENTER TOWNSHIP -- Four men and a teen were arrested for an armed robbery inside a Northfield Center Township apartment Wednesday.
The Summit County Sheriff's Office received a report that four men wearing ski masks forced entry into an apartment at a complex on Olde Eight Road. Three of the suspects knocked on the door and forced theri way inside while a fourth remained in the hallway.
The sheriff's office says two of the suspects brandished guns and demanded property from the victims. The suspects fled in a car that was parked outside the building. None of the victims were hurt.
Sheriff's deputies stopped the suspect vehicle a short time later at a grocery store. Deputies found the guns and ski masks used during the robbery inside the car.
All five were taken into custody.
Twenty-two-year-old Derek Manley, 21-year-old Calin Arscott and 19-year-old Willie Hill were arrested on aggravated robbery charges. Nineteen-year-old Antoine Pearson Jr. and a 17-year-old were arrested on complicity to aggravated robbery charges.
