CUYAHOGA FALLS -- A local bus driver went the extra mile for a student this week.
A driver for the Cuyahoga Falls School District, identified in a note as Mr. Bill, found a student's empty lunchbox on his bus one morning. Instead of waiting to return it on the ride home, the driver found the student at school and gave her back the lunchbox completely packed.
According to a note inside, he made her a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and packed her peanut butter crackers and a bottle of water.
The child's mother shared the random act of kindness with the school and the Cuyahoga Falls Education Association posted a picture of the note to Facebook:
The mother also thanked Mr. Bill on the post, saying she is happy her daughter knows there are people who still believe in acts of kindness.
