CUYAHOGA FALLS -- One man suffered non-life-threatening injuries when he was shot by police during a domestic situation Thursday morning.
Officers were called to the home at the 1900 block of Cook Street around 7:15 a.m., where they found a woman with injuries she received during a domestic incident.
Police removed a small child from the home before searching for the man involved, who ran back inside the house with a gun.
Officers tried to reason with the man to put down the gun, which he pointed at officers. He was shot by an officer and taken to an area hospital.
