Man's dismembered body parts discovered at Coventry Township property

A law enforcement source confirms decomposing body parts were found on Linda Street and a woman has been arrested in connection with the case.

The Summit County Medical Examiner is continuing its attempts to identify a dismembered body found inside a Coventry Township home over the weekend.

On Saturday, WKYC cameras witnessed authorities removing multiple bags from the property, located at the 3300 block of Linda Street.

On Sunday, law enforcement sources confirmed to WKYC that those bags contained a man's dismembered and decomposing body parts. Some parts were concealed in bags and other parts were found inside luggage.

The Summit County Medical Examiner says the state of decomposition and condition of the body will require additional time in the identification process.

Authorities swarmed the house Saturday afternoon. The Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office was notified and responded to the scene. Crews spent nearly 10 hours on the property.

Next-door neighbor Lewis Montgomery confirmed that a man, a woman and their two sons lived in the home for 19 years. He described the couple as being in their 50s. Montgomery stated he often went months without seeing the man, but this time hadn't seen him since May. He did recall seeing the woman within the past two weeks.

“It is a real shocker. When you live by somebody that long, ya know, and kept to yourselves and said your hi's and bye's to them and stuff you would never think anything like this would happen,” said Montgomery.

Neighbors say the woman who lived in the home is named Marcia Eubank. There's currently a woman of a similar age with that name in custody at the Summit County Jail.

A source has confirmed to WKYC that a woman was arrested in connection with the case, but that source would not identify her.

As of Sunday evening, Summit County Sheriff Steve Barry would not officially release any details including if anyone had been arrested or if the body parts had been identified.

This is a developing story. WKYC will continue to provide updates as they become available.
