Search continues for pregnant Barberton 14-year-old

The pair remains on the run.

U.S. Marshals have joined the search for Annalys Clay, the pregnant 14-year-old believed to be with her cousin.

Clay was last seen Dec. 4 around midnight in Strongsville. An Amber Alert was not issued, though authorities say they believe Clay could be in danger.

Clay's mother told police her daughter is pregnant and her cousin, Louis Jakab, is believed to be the father. The two had a previous relationship in October.

Authorities believe Clay is with Jakab, 33, who has a prior conviction for manslaughter and is wanted for violating his parole.

The pair was last seen in a 2017 black Audi A3 with an Ohio license plate of HED3844. Those plates were reported stolen from Cleveland.

A reward is now available for information leading to Clay and Jakab.

According to reports on Dec. 3, Clay was traveling with her mother on the freeway when she began assaulting her. Her mother pulled the car over to the side of the road, Jakab pulled behind them and Annalys entered his car.

Investigators said in a news release issued Monday that they believe the pair is still together and may have fled the state.

Jakab is described as being 6-foot-4, weighing approximately 190 pounds, with a shaved head and blue eyes. Clay is 5-foot-5, weighing 125 pounds with red hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information on the pair's location is asked to call 1-866-492-6833.
