A Coventry Township woman was indicted on murder charges for allegedly killing her husband and hiding his body parts inside their home.

Marcia Eubank, 49, was indicted on charges of murder, aggravated murder, tampering with evidence and abuse of a corpse Thursday.

The remains of Howard Eubank, 54, were found earlier this month when his son was locked out of the couple's Linda Street home and crawled through a window into Marcia Eubank's office. Inside the office, the son found a container concealing human remains. Police later found two additional containers of remains in the basement.

According to a sheriff's report, Marcia Eubank admitted to killing her husband in June.

Howard Eubank worked at Warren Pump and Supply, an Akron water supply company, for more than a decade. Co-workers said they received a "bizarre" text from Howard's phone claiming he was moving to Texas June 18. About a week before, co-workers were told Howard was admitted to the hospital in relation to a possible respiratory issue. Sheriff Steve Barry said it appears the texts were sent by his wife.

Marcia Eubank is scheduled for arraignment Jan. 5.
