Many people are calling Cleveland Police Chief Calvin Williams the RNC's MVP.

He led a team of Cleveland Police Department and out-of-town officers who created an atmosphere of security surrounding the Republican National Convention and avoided dangerous flashpoints by keeping antagonistic groups apart.

Friday, Williams disclosed that 2,800 officers from outside departments were deployed in the security plan, the first time that number's been revealed..

He discussed his and his department's role in protecting the super-successful RNC in an interview with WKYC's Tom Beres.
