CLEVELAND -- Several garbage trucks caught fire overnight at a Cleveland waste facility.

Fire crews, including police and EMS, responded to Republic Services on Jones Road, just off of Broadway Avenue for reports of possible vehicles on fire.

When firefighters arrived, garbage trucks parked in a lot were engulfed in flames.

It happened just before 2:30 a.m. on Thursday.

The firefighters battled extreme heat conditions, gas fumes coming from the garbage trucks and exploding tires.

Officials have not said what caused these trash trucks to catch fire, and no one was hurt.
