The LeBron James Family Foundation (LJFF) is hosted their final 'experience outing' of the school year at the Little Tykes headquarters in Hudson Thursday morning.

Students spent the day at the Little Tikes headquarters to test out new toys, experience how toys are created at the factory floor and how ideas are formed during a brainstorming session.

The 7th graders joined in on the action as toys were evaluated for the quality and brainstormed their own new toy ideas.

The program is part of the foundation’s “experience outings” where students team up with local companies and organizations to give them hands-on learning opportunities during the school year. The outings also provide students with a unique perspective into a variety of career opportunities that are available.

Little Tikes and LJFF have teamed up on a line of LeBron James Family Foundation-branded sports products for kids. A portion of the proceeds go back to the foundation to help provide support for students and activities throughout the year.

3rd grade - A Christmas ride on their personal Polar Express powered by FirstEnergy Foundation

4th grade - A private orchestra with the Akron Symphony

5th grade - A special screening of a new film through VIP Movie Magic, with insight on the entertainment industry

7th grade - Promise Engineers with Little Tikes

8th grade - Hometown Innovation with Goodyear
