WASHINGTON — Mr. Bibb goes to Washington!

On Thursday night, 3News senior commentator Leon Bibb was in our nation's capital to perform in the theatrical program, "Modern Warrior," at the U.S. Library of Congress.

"Modern Warrior" features the storytelling of former Staff Sergeant Jaymes Poling and his experiences in the war in Afghanistan blended in with a cast of world-class artists in multiple genres led by internationally-acclaimed trumpeter Dominick Farinacci, who is also a member of the faculty at Cuyahoga Community College.

In the program, Leon provides firsthand stories of his military experiences in the war in Vietnam in three separate segments which cover his entry into the U.S. Army, his time under fire during the war, and his return home to civilian life. He has been a part of the production of "Modern Warrior" for the last few years throughout Northeast Ohio, with performances at Playhouse Square and Cuyahoga Community College.

Thursday's program was produced in partnership with the U.S. Library of Congress Veterans History project, which chronicles the military history of U.S. veterans of wars since WWI.

Leon will perform in "Modern Warrior" coming up on Thursday, November 17 at Cuyahoga Community College East in Warrensville Heights.
