Good news surfaced from Columbus Tuesday, as top-ranked lineback prospect Dallas Gant announced his commitment to The Ohio State University.
The St. John's Toledo senior is the No. 2 prospect in the state and the top lineback prospect in the country, according to USA Today.

But Gant wasn't the only one to celebrate on Twitter.
Buckeyes coach Urban Meyer posted a tweet in which he threw a small dose of shade at the Michigan Wolverines.
The tweet simply contains a quick clip of last year's Ohio State-Michigan game, which the Buckeyes won in overtime.
The tweet could be considered a symbolic representation of the recruiting war between Ohio State and Michigan, with Meyer winning this round by acquiring the four-star prospect Gant, despite Toledo's proximity to Ann Arbor.
