After falling behind early, Chris Edmond ran for four touchdowns to help the Cardinals win their conference opener.

Canton McKinley (4-0) 32, Green (2-2) 8

Alijah Curtis ran for a touchdown and threw for another, and Darius Houston took a fumble back for six to keep the Bulldogs unbeaten. The win was also head coach Dan Reardon's 100th in his career in Canton.

Bedford (4-0) 52, Copley (2-2) 21

As if the 52 points weren't enough, some of the numbers on offense for the Bearcats are just jaw-dropping: Quarterback Emmanuel Jenkins threw for 502 yards and six touchdowns (on just 19 pass attempts), Davion Johnson had 303 receiving yards by himself for three touchdowns, and Deangelo "D-Lo" Howard added 261 total yards and three total touchdowns.

Hudson (3-1) 23, Brecksville (2-2) 20

The Explorers were able to put last week's loss to Canton McKinley behind them with a hard-fought win against the Bees. Kevin Callahan had a field day, rushing for 204 yards and two touchdowns.

Midview (4-0) 27, Amherst (3-1) 7

The Middies jumped out to a 20-0 halftime lead and never looked back to improve to 4-0. Seamus Higley led the way on offense with three touchdown passes, two of them to Alonzo Banks.
