For My Take, I am a big Miami Heat fan tonight.
It's Game 5 for the Heat and Raptors in Toronto and we know the winner of Game 5 when the series is 2-2 has an 82 percent chance of winning the series. So, Go Heat!
I know that makes some of you a little nervous. And videos of LeBron being a little too chummy with Dwyane Wade makes some of you fear the Miami Heat.
LeBron wants the Heat. I want the Heat. The NBA wants the Heat. It's the best match-up for TV ratings and attention.
Some of that fear comes from, and I heard this, LeBron won't play as hard against his close friend Wade.
Wrong. This is the Eastern Conference Finals. LeBron will be fully motivated to beat Wade, sweep the Heat and win in Miami.
The Cavs are 1-2 against the Heat this year. That doesn't matter. LeBron didn't play in the one game and all three games were over before March 20th. The Cavs are a much better team right now and playing the best basketball they've ever played.
So bring on the Heat! I hope they win tonight. I hope they win the series over the Raptors because I have no fear seeing the Heat in the next round.
