Cleveland Guardians announce second annual 'Beerfest' at Progressive Field for July

The inaugural event held in 2021 sold out quickly to over 9,000 fans.

CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Guardians announced today the second annual "Grand Slam Beerfest" event for two sessions at Progressive Field on Saturday, July 9, 2022. 

The inaugural event in 2021 sold out to a crowd of over 9,000 fans allowing fans to check out the ballpark while sampling over 200 craft beers, wines and cocktails.

“We are excited to once again partner with Cleveland Beerfest and bring back such a fun and unique experience to Progressive Field,” said Cleveland Guardians Director of Special Events Caitlyn Burkart. “The response to the inaugural event was incredibly positive and we are pleased to see this become an annual special event at Progressive Field for Northeast Ohio to enjoy.”

Wondering what the event will entail and how much tickets will cost? There will be three different kinds of tickets for this year's event:

  • General Admission: $50 - allows for a single three-hour session (2-5 p.m. or 8-11 p.m.),
  • Early Admission: $75 - allows attendees to enter one hour early, as well as access to the Progressive Field warning track for extra beer-tasting and photo opportunities.
  • Super Fan: $95 - will feature exclusive beers and a photo opportunity at home plate

Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 5 at 9 a.m. ET. All Cleveland Guardians season ticket holders will have special early access to purchase tickets at a discounted price starting Tuesday, May 3 at 9 a.m. ET.
