NEW YORK — This. Is. It.

The Game 5 matchup between the Cleveland Guardians and New York Yankees will decide which team advances to the American League Championship Series to face the Houston Astros.

It comes after the Yankees forced a Game 5 with their 4-2 win against the Guardians at Progressive Field on Sunday night.

"If you'd have told me back in March, 'Would we have signed up to play Game 5 in New York to go to the ALCS?' shoot, I might jog to to New York," coach Terry Francona said after Sunday night's game.

The showdown was originally scheduled to take place Monday night, but Mother Nature had other ideas. Instead, the two teams will meet late Tuesday afternoon at Yankee Stadium.

Should the Guardians win, they will travel to Texas for Game 1 of the ALCS against the Astros with first pitch set for 7:37 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 19.
