And while the Cleveland Indians lost their season opener to the Detroit Tigers 3-2, it still proved to be a memorable debut for the RSN.

As has been a tradition for years, Thursday's game was followed by a new episode of "Drennan Live!" And while it appeared the Indians were still shaking off some preseason rust, the show's host and namesake, Bruce Drennan, was already in midseason form, going off on a caller who suggested that designated hitter Franmil Reyes in unable to come through in clutch situations.

"I guess you missed a lot of the games that Reyes hit in the clutch last year, huh?" Drennan replied.

When the caller replied, "no, no, no, no, no, no, no," that appeared to set Drennan off.

"Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah," Drennan shoted back. "You're an idiot. You're an idiot and you don't know baseball. Oh, you are an idiot. Listen, you're gonna tell me you are judging -- you don't know anything. You don't know squat, you stupid idiot. You're gonna tell me you're gonna make a judgment on the season after one game in 30-degree weather? That proves what an ignoramus you are. Get off our show. Fair-weather idiot!"

Drennan's rant proceeded to go viral, with national outlets such as Bleacher Report pushing it out on its app. It also served as a comforting reminder that even during a 162-game season, you never know when something special is going to happen -- before or after the game.
