The Cleveland Indians have activated starting pitcher Corey Kluber from the disabled list, the team announced Thursday.

Kluber was sidelined most of May with a lower back strain. He last pitched May 2, where he departed the game against Detroit after three innings.

Kluber is 3-2 with a 5.06 ERA through six starts on the season.

Reliever Shawn Armstrong was optioned to AAA Columbus to make room for Kluber.
