One month after their run in the 2017 playoffs came to an end, the Cleveland Indians announced their schedule for 2018 Spring Training.
The Indians will begin their quest for a third consecutive American League Central Division championship on Feb. 23, with a Cactus League matchup against the Cincinnati Reds at Goodyear Ballpark in Arizona. Pitchers and catchers will report to Goodyear, Ariz. on Feb. 14, with the full roster arriving four days later.
While the Indians will spend the majority of their spring training schedule in Goodyear, Cleveland will head to Las Vegas on March 17-18 for a two-day series with the Chicago Cubs as a part of the 2018 Las Vegas Big League Weekend. The Tribe will end its spring with two games against the Arizona Diamondbacks on March 26-27, before heading further West to take on the Seattle Mariners in its season opener on March 29.
