Trailing the Minnesota Twins by 2.5 games in the American League Central, the Cleveland Indians' full attention is focused on the 2019 campaign and their ongoing division race.
But when it does come time to turn the page to 2020, the Indians now know when their journey will begin.
On Monday, the Tribe announced the 33 games that will comprise its 2020 Spring Training schedule. Making their return to Goodyear, Arizona, and the MLB Cactus League, the Indians will open their spring slate against the Cincinnati Reds on Feb. 22 at Goodyear Park. The Indians will close their offseason schedule with a pair of exhibition games vs. the Houston Astros before returning to Cleveland for their season opener vs. the Detroit Tigers on March 26.
