The Cleveland Indians organization is mourning the loss of one of its minor league clubhouse managers.
Matt Pruzinsky, home clubhouse manager for the Columbus Clippers, died unexpectedly Sunday. According to a GoFundMe page started by Indians reliever Shawn Armstrong, Pruzinsky's wife is currently expecting twin boys.
The Clippers posted the following statement to their Twitter page Monday:
Matt joined the Clippers in 2010 and left an indelible mark on the Clippers and Cleveland @Indians
organizations. He will be sorely missed. pic.twitter.com/tFaCf8FvLq
Several current and former players within the Indians organization have donated to the GoFundMe to raise money for Pruzinsky's wife and sons.
