's Paul Hoynes may be feeling a little chilly today.

"I made a bet that if the Indians reached the World Series, I'd jump into the lake after I wrote the Indians off in September, saying they'd win the AL Central, but would advance no farther than the first round of the postseason following injuries to starting pitchers Danny Salazar and Carlos Carrasco," he wrote on a post on the news organization's website.

Since the Cleveland Indians will face off against the Chicago Cubs in the first game of the World Series Tuesday night, Hoynes obviously lost the bet.

He made good on his promise today and jumped into Lake Erie.
