Cleveland Indians fans have been begging for the actor, known for his role as Ricky "Wild Thing" Vaughn in the film Major League, to throw out the first pitch of any of the home World Series games against the Chicago Cubs.

The organization hasn't given in, though, instead tapping former team stars like Dennis Martinez and Kenny Lofton for the ceremonial duties.

The Indians are expected to make the first pitch announcement later today.
