The 89th Major League Baseball All-Star Game will be remembered for two things: A record number of home runs and Francisco Lindor mic'd up.

The Tribe shortstop wore a microphone while playing in the field during Tuesday's Mid-Summer Classic at Nationals Park in Washington. The effervescence and zest for baseball and life that we've been accustomed to seeing from Frankie these past few years herei n Cleveland showed up in bunches in front of a national television audience.

Take a look: He was even a highlight before speaking a word!

Social media enjoyed the Lindor variety show as well:

Looking at the final tally of Cleveland Indians players who made it into the game, Lindor was 0-for-1, Jose Ramirez was 0-for-2, Yan Gomes was 0-for-3, and Michael Brantley was 1-for-2 with an RBI.

But make no mistake, Frankie Lindor stole the show.
