Now that the Portland Trail Blazers guard is on the trade block, what are the odds that McCollum might play in the same city as his favorite team and home region? According to one betting site, it's a more realistic possibility than you might think.

Following the conclusion of the first round of the NBA Playoffs, SportsBetting.ag has released odds for which teams a number of the league's stars could be traded to this offseason, including McCollum, whose Blazers were eliminated by the Denver Nuggets late last week. Per the betting site, at +400, Cleveland has the fourth-best odds of landing the Canton GlenOak product, trailing the New York Knicks (+200), Los Angeles Clippers (+250) and Indiana Pacers (+300).

The San Antonio Spurs (+500), Toronto Raptors (+600) and Milwaukee Bucks (+700) round out the list of potential trade destinations for McCollum.

As for the 6-foot-3 McCollum's potential fit in Cleveland, it's worth noting that the Cavs already have two shorter guards starting in their backcourt in Collin Sexton and Darius Garland. At 29-years-old, however, McCollum -- who averaged a career-high 23.1 points and 4.7 assists last season -- could bring newfound credibility to a Cleveland roster still rebuilding following LeBron James' departure in 2018.

What's more is that the Cavs' potential acquisition of the NBA's 2016 Most Improved Player could facilitate not just one, but two homecomings. Earlier this year, Cleveland forward and Lake Oswego, Oregon, native Kevin Love spoke of his desire to one day play for his hometown team, the Blazers.

"Whether it be at the end of my career, whether it be in six months, or whatever it may be, if I was wearing a Portland jersey, that’s special," Love told Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes in May. "That’s playing at home."
