Cleveland Cavaliers beat Indiana Pacers 104-100 in Game 4, even series at 2 games apiece

Game 5 will be played on Wednesday in Cleveland.

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Cleveland Cavaliers are heading home. And they're doing so all tied up.

With a 104-100 Game 4 victory over the Indiana Pacers on Sunday night, the Cavs evened up their Eastern Conference Quarterfinals matchup at two games apiece. Cleveland had led by 10 points at halftime before blowing another double-digit lead in the second half, but ultimately fought back to secure their series-evening victory.

LeBron James led the Cavs with 32 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists, while Kyle Korver added 18. All-Star guard Victory Oladipo scored just 14 points for Indiana on 4-of-19 shooting.

Game 5 is slated for Wednesday in Cleveland, with tip-off scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.

What follows is a running recap of the Cavs' Game 4 victory.

Fourth quarter

9.0: Cavs 103, Pacers 100: An Oladipo three cuts the Cavs's lead in half and Lance Stephenson fouls Jeff Green, who will have a chance to close it out.

15.2 seconds: Cavs 101, Pacers 97: A Thad Young dunk trims Cleveland's lead to 4.Cavs will have to close it out at the free throw line.

1:18: Cavs 101, Pacers 95: Cavs reel off a 10-3 run, thanks to a pair of Kyle Korver 3-pointers. Now hold a 6-point lead and the ball with just over a minute remaining.

4:38: Pacers 92, Cavs 91: Crunch time in Indy with the Pacers still up 1 and a jump ball between LeBron James and Lance coming.

6:12: Pacers 91, Cavs 89: Disastrous second half for the Cavs continues as the Pacers take the lead. A free throw coming for Indy after LeBron gets T'd up for shoving Lance Stephenson.

Third quarter

End of quarter: Cavs 80, Pacers 78: Cavs holding on, but just barely after James scores just 1 third-quarter point.

3:23: Cavs 76, Pacers 72: Cavs staying up, but Pacers beating them inside. Thad Young, in particular, doing a great job locking down Kevin Love, who's really struggled thus far.

5:44: Cavs 73, Pacers 68: Fast-paced games, but 3-point shooting keeping Cleveland ahead with J.R. Smith and Kyle Korver each hitting from long range.

8:51: Cavs 62, Pacers, 60: And just like that, the Cavs lead shrinks to 2 as the Pacers open the third quarter on a 10-2 run.

Second quarter

Halftime: Cavs 60, Pacers 50: LeBron with 23 first-half points while Clarkson has 12 off the bench. For the third straight game, the Cavs have a double-digit halftime lead.

5:02: Cavs 49, Pacers 36: Jordan Clarkson coming alive with 9 points off the bench. Cavs continue to look strong and the role players are showing up.

8:53: Cavs 40, Pacers 28: James back on the court for Cleveland as the Cavs start the second quarter on a 10-4 run to extend their lead to 12.

First quarter

End of quarter: Cavs 30, Pacers 24: J.R. Smith hits a 3/4 court shot to extend the Cavs lead after a pair of Victor Oladipo free throws. Cavs enter the second up 6.

2:44: Cavs 21, Pacers 15: The Pacers had tied the game at 13 before the Cavs hot start continued with a J.R. Smith 3 and LeBron James and-1. Tyronn Lue now turning to his bench.

6:42: Cavs 11, Pacers 8: Strong start for the Cavs and an early showing from Tristan Thompson, who isn't helping create mismatches for LeBron, who already has 6 early points.
