The Cavaliers are facing long odds as they try to keep the NBA Finals alive. The Wine and Gold are down 0-3 to Golden State in the best-of-seven series after losing to the Warriors in heartbreaking fashion on Wednesday night.
No team in NBA history has ever come back from down 0-3 to win a postseason series.
It seemed that Cavs guard J.R. Smith was feeling extra confident after the loss.
At 12:04 a.m. on Thursday morning, Smith tweeted "Cavs in 7."
He then deleted the post roughly 20 minutes later. However, WKYC Channel 3's John Anderson captured the tweet while it was still active.
Smith told Doug Lesmerises of Cleveland.com later that he was hacked saying, "I'm smarter than that."
The Cavs will try to stay alive on Friday night when they host the Warriors in Game 4 of the NBA Finals at the Q. Tip-off will be just after 9:00 p.m.
