Jarrett Allen, Evan Mobley power Cleveland Cavaliers to 107-104 win over Portland Trail Blazers

Allen had 24 points and 17 rebounds and Mobley added 11 points and 11 boards.

CLEVELAND — Jarrett Allen had 24 points and 17 rebounds and rookie Evan Mobley added 11 points and 11 rebounds for his fourth double-double as the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Portland Trail Blazers 107-104.

Damian Lillard missed a fadeaway 3-pointer from the left wing with two seconds left, and Mobley, the third overall pick in the draft, grabbed the rebound as time expired. Cleveland (5-4) has won four of its last six.

Lillard had a game-high 26 points and eight assists, and shot 10 of 27 from the field as Portland (3-5) lost its third straight. The Trail Blazers are winless in four road games.

The Cavs suffered a bit of a blow before the game, as the team announced forward Lauri Markkanen has joined teammate Kevin Love and entered the NBA's health and safety protocols. The 7-footer's status will be updated "at the appropriate time."

Wednesday's game was the first for the Cavaliers at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse since Oct. 23, following a five-game road trip, but they'll have to leave quickly again for two more contests away from Cleveland. The first of the pair takes place Friday night in Canada against the Toronto Raptors.
