LeBron James pokes fun at Cleveland Cavaliers trade rumors

Perhaps Teen Wolf could help protect the rim?

CLEVELAND -- With the Feb. 8 NBA trade deadline approaching, the Cleveland Cavaliers have been linked to the likes of DeAndre Jordan, Lou Williams and George Hill.

And that's just been in the last day.

Suffice to say, it appears likely the Cavs will make a move in the next few weeks. Last week, Marc Stein of The New York Times even went as far to say a league source told him Cleveland will "definitely" make a trade between now and the second week of February.

The latest trade chatter hasn't been lost on the Cavs' players themselves, particularly the team's most prominent star, LeBron James. On Saturday, James took to Twitter to poke fun at the rumor mill, adding the fictional movie character Teen Wolf to the list of players Cleveland might be trying to acquire.

Whether or not the Cavs would be willing to part with their coveted 2018 Brooklyn Nets' first-round pick appears to be a sticking point in Cleveland's attempt to add talent -- fictional or not. Cavs management has reportedly been unwilling to deal the pick, which was acquired in the Kyrie Irving trade, while several players have anonymously expressed dissatisfaction with the current state of the Cleveland roster.

One way or another, the Cavs figure to remain active in trade talks in the next three weeks. In the meantime, the team's current roster will host the Oklahoma City Thunder at Quicken Loans Arena on Saturday afternoon, with James 25 points away from scoring his 30,000th career point.
