LeBron James finds himself on wrong end of controversial no-calls against Golden State Warriors

When it comes to LeBron James, NBA referees were hardly in the giving spirit this Christmas -- although the Golden State Warriors might beg to differ.

As the Cleveland Cavaliers' Christmas Day matchup against the defending NBA champions drew to a close, James found himself at the center of three controversial plays -- each of which came with Warriors forward Kevin Durant serving as his primary defender.

James, however, failed to draw a foul call from the referees on any of the three plays, which could have potentially aided the Cavs in what was ultimately a 99-92 Warriors win.

After the game, Durant defended his defense on the three plays, stating of James "He's too big for that. That's not a foul." What exactly the Golden State forward meant by his comments remains unclear, as there's no rule stating that a player should be officiated differently due to his size.

In addition to his defense, Durant got it done on the offensive side of the floor, scoring a team-high 25 points against the Cavs on Monday. James, meanwhile, scored 20 points to go along with 6 rebounds and 6 assists, although the three prominent no-calls left many wondering what could have been.
