LeBron James on his performance vs. Orlando Magic: 'I was garbage'

Following the Cavs' close call with the Orlando Magic, James took to Twitter to critique his performance.

CLEVELAND -- It's not often LeBron James hears boo birds from the home crowd.

But on Thursday night, the Cleveland Cavaliers admitted he may have deserved them.

The Cavs snapped a four-game losing streak with a 104-103 victory over the Orlando Magic, but Cleveland's latest outing wasn't without drama. After blowing what had been a 23-point lead, the Cavs found themselves trailing with less than 30 seconds remaining before a pair of Isaiah Thomas free throws ultimately gave Cleveland the win.

James, for his part, was far from his typical MVP-caliber self, matching a season-low with 16 points on 7-of-16 shooting while committing 6 turnovers -- including a crucial one late in the fourth quarter.

After the game, James took to Twitter to critique his performance, referring to it as "garbage."

An off-night for James, of course, is still the exception, even in what is now the 15th season of his career. Earlier in the day, he was named one of two captains for the upcoming NBA All-Star Game after receiving the most fan votes of any player in the Eastern Conference.

With his 16 points on Thursday, the 4-time MVP is now just 25 points away from becoming the seventh player in NBA history to reach the 30,000 mark in his career. It seems like a safe bet he'll do that on Saturday when the Cavs host the Oklahoma City Thunder at 3:30 p.m. ET -- barring another "garbage" performance from the now-14-time All-Star.
